Kim Victoria Cattrall, born on the 21st of August, 1956 in London in London, is the daughter of a British and Canadian actress from Canada and the UK. Her most well-known role was as Samantha Jones on the HBO show Sex and the City. The role that she played earned her the Golden Globe Award for 2002 for Best Female Supporting actress. In 2008 and in 2010, she reprised the character for the two films Sex and the City and Sex and the City 2. She is also known for her roles as a leading actress in the films of the 1980s Police Academy Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin and Porky's. Kim Cattrall is most often associated with her popular HBO sitcom Sex & the City, in which she portrayed Samantha Jones. The character Samantha Jones played by noted actress Cattrall is a significant moment in her professional life. The show not only increased her recognition among the national crowd, but also turned her into an international superstar, giving the actress a lot of fame and respect. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. Most famously, she is known for playing the role of La Dolce Vita, a comedy-drama. The film was both a critical and commercial success and won both the Golden Palm and Oscar at Cannes Film Festival 1960. She was born in Skane Sweden and did a stint as a model prior to her acting profession. In the end, she was crowned Miss Sweden contest. After moving to the US she acted in a variety of films, playing small parts. Her first role that was acknowledged as hers was in the movie Abbott and Costello Go to Mars in which she appeared as the role of a Venusian guard. Following her appearance for the role in Blood Alley, she won the Golden Globe Award in the category of Most Promising Youngcomer.
